After secession monument fails at Patriots Point, idea stalls in North Charleston (updated)

Update April 20: ABC News 4 is reporting that the Mayor Summey has revoked the offer to place the monument in North Charleston; get the story.
First reporting: Yesterday we got a press release from the City of North Charleston that said they wouldn't immediately commit to the secession monument that failed to go to Patriots Point.
Instead the city will hold a round of public hearings first.
