Thousands turn out just to hear about Boeing construction jobs
It didn't take a lot of teasing to get some 3,000 folks to turn out for Boeing's informational meeting on construction work.
The Post and Courier has a very informative story on the matter along with some good links to Boeing construction info.
NBC News 2 has a nice video that shows how surprised folks were at the massive turnout -- they had expected fewer than 1,000.
That video also has a smidgen of detail on future to-be-announced sessions.
Oh, and in related news: Boeing has announced that the Charleston facility will duplicate even more of Seattle's production ability, making the local 787 site even more independent. The Seattle Times has a nice story on that.
