Rocky Horror Picture Show returns: new venue, new style

Update October 3rd: Rocky Horror Picture Show is back at the beach this weekend.

The local Rocky Horror Picture Show troupe will be performing two shows this weekend at Donny's Saloon. This time around the performance is a little different. The group will be doing a 'shadow cast' which is a, "group of people that performs a movie in front of a screen while that movie is playing; they essentially pantomime the movie."

The doors open for the first show at 11:00pm on Saturday, October 6th with the show scheduled to starts at midnight. The following day, Sunday, October 7th, the show will start at 8:00pm.

According to the Facebook Event:

Tickets will be available at the door for $10 (with nifty Rocky Horror prop bag) and $7, without aforementioned nifty bag.

Before each show the Plan B gang are planning some fun and games to have with the audience. Both showings are 18 and up and seating is limited, so make sure you get there early.

Damn it, Janet! Get to the X on Friday, July 13, 2012 for a live performance of Rocky Horror Picture Show to properly celebrate the third Friday the 13th of 2012.

Plan B from Myrtle Beach, the beach's very own Rocky Horror Picture Show troupe will be performing live at The X Sports Center. Tickets are available now at Studio B art gallery in Market Common for $5 and at the door that night for $7. The doors open with fun and games beginning at 11 p.m. The show begins promptly at midnight.

Prop/goodie bags will be on sale the night of the show or you can bring your own, just no food items and confetti, please. And don't forget to dress up in costume - the more outlandish the better. Prizes will be given away for the best.

Bill Bair owner of Studio B posted, "It's always better to corrupt a friend or loved one, too. Even a bitter enemy. Share this event in your [Facebook] Timeline, won't ya?" and we couldn't agree more; so hop on over to Facebook and do as Bill says, share this event with all your friends.
