Update October 14: Glazed opened up its doors earlier this week and the Charleston City Paper has some photos of Upper King street's newest shop.

First reporting: Glazed Gourmet Doughnuts, Charleston first gourmet doughnut shop, will be opening soon at 481 King Street.

Glazed will bring fresh, gourmet, artisan doughnuts to Charleston using local ingredients. Finally Charleston's doughnut void will be filled! Be prepared to have your taste buds stimulated with our sweet puffs of goodness. We want to share our creativity, interests and flavors with everyone through doughnuts.
