The Charleston Pour House is proud to present the Charleston Pour House 10th Anniversary Week Celebration and 2nd Annual Mural Competition.

The mural project is a competition for local artists to paint representational art on the outside and inside restaurant walls and the deck fence of the popular music venue. The week-long event will be August 27 - September 3 and will include live music on two stages and voting from the event attendees.

The Pour House invites proposals for a mural design to compete for three prizes, including a grand prize of $500 in cash.

Live painting during the anniversary festival weekend is encouraged, but, ultimately, the painting must be finished by September 2nd. Attendees of the event will vote for their favorite artwork on September 3 (during Acousticmuffin, the final day of the celebration), and there will be prizes awarded to the top 3 creations.

All artists must be at least 18 years old to participate and all entires must be original designs. Remember: The theme of the designs should align with The Pour House's motto: "love. live. music."
