In video: Local's Christmas tale gets a British reading
"The Chimney" is a new, old Christmas story about a primordial Santa from the frozen wastes; he comes bearing sticks and stones instead of toys, and wears a reindeer-skin robe fastened with elf-knuckles— what's not to love?
Written by Lisa Annelouise Rentz — a writer and staffer at ARTworks in Beaufort — the story was read by Max Berendt at the Liars' League Give & Take Christmas event at The Albany, Great Portland Street, in London.
Check out the video of the reading up top or over here — pull up a comfy chair, get cozy, and unwrap this digital Christmas present with a British accent. Hohoho!
