$210,000 Beaufort County embezzlement case proceeds (update: Another guilty plea)

Update August 9: Adrian Coore, who helped his girlfriend, Casaundra White, embezzle more than $200,000 from the Beaufort County Treasurer's Office has entered a guilty plea and been sentenced.

Update March 29, guilty plea: Casaundra White received a sentence of 13 months, probation, community service, and a charge to repay $210,000 following her cooperation and guilty plea.
Meanwhile a more serious case continues to evolve around her ex-boyfriend, Adrian Coore, involving multiple criminal conspiracy charges.

The case follows another highlighted Beaufort County embezzlement case by Elizabeth Smith, who is still awaiting federal sentencing.
First reporting January 23: The other big Beaufort County embezzlement case appears set to be heard before the middle of 2011.
This one, if you've forgotten, involves the alleged misuse of $210,00 from the Treasurer's Office by Casaundra White and Adrian Coore.
