South Carolinians head to the polls Tuesday to cast ballots in several primary elections, and there are a few media outlets offering coverage on what the various contests mean and who’s running for what.

First off, Charleston City Paper has a pretty comprehensive look at all the primary contests that are relevant to the Lowcountry, both Republican and Democratic, and even a few predictions.

Also, The Post and Courier has a list of local polling spots and what to expect when you get there, as well as a general look at Tuesday’s primaries.

WACH in Columbia has a list of what voters need to know about the primary vote, so give that a glance if you have any general questions. There’s also the S.C. State Election Commission Web site, which has answers to many questions and keeps you updated in a bloglike format on election news.

If you’re a fan of the Charleston Mercury, you can see their endorsements for the primary contests on their Web site.
