New alternative movie theater coming to Park Circle
Even as their play festival winds down, Park Circle is hardly going to be quiet. Proof: The recently formed Greater Park Circle Film Society will launch the Olde Village Talking Picture House on Saturday, December 6.
In their self-proclamation, they announced they plan to bring “movies and experiences that you will not find at mainstream theatres, foster appreciation for the art of film, and work with local schools to present special showings of student films and other projects.”
MyParkCircle.com wrote about the new venue, in part:

If you want to learn more, an information meeting is being held at the Old Meeting Place on November 5 at 6 p.m. And MyParkCircle’s account is pretty comprehensive.
As the movie bulbs dim on the Peninsula, it’s great to see the spirit grow in Park Circle.
