
James Island Connector run kicks off running-laden month
The James Island Connector run is the first run of the dozen happening this month. The 10th annual event is a 10K run and 5K walk on Saturday, November 1, at 8 a.m. Run for a good cause and take in some great views as you run over and back the James Island Connector.
Haven’t registered yet? No problem. You can register late at the race for $30. The 10K starts at 8 a.m. and the 5K at 8:30 a.m.
Here’s a bit about the race from their Web site:
WHERE? start and finish on Calhoun Street, across from Roper Hospital.
WHY? because it IS good for you and FEELS good to you. PLUS a ll proceeds benefit the Gavalas Kolanko Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides advanced education scholarships to students with special needs and works to serve as a resource for their families and educators.
