After floating around the Atlantic for several days, and likely several more, Hanna is expected to find conditions that allow it to move northwest and strengthen into a hurricane. More

Hanna is expected to strengthen into a hurricane and continue on a path towards South Carolina for a couple of days, but then winds coming from the U.S. are expected to adjust the storms movement, perhaps pushing it south. We also check in on Gustav. More

If you were downtown you heard the crack and boom as the sky opened. These storms should be infrequent, isolated and short-lived. Keyword there is "should" though. More
