The third time was the charm. Candice Glover did not go home disappointed from the "American Idol" final results show on Thursday, overcoming contestant Kree Harrison.

"I can't even … oh my God, it's been three years," said Glover. "It's been three years of persistence, determination, and a lot of talent." 

Glover had twice tried out for the competition, failing to make the cut to the top 20 both times.
