New Italian Restaurant at Shelter Cove Harbour

Offers Neapolitan Dishes & Outdoor Bar with Water Views

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C.  – A little slice of Naples has set up shop in Shelter Cove HarbourLa Fontana, a new Hilton Head restaurant, has opened its doors in the former Little Venice space. Specializing in brick oven pizzas, pastas, seafood and traditional Neapolitan dishes, the restaurant’s cooking staff, including Chef Gary Langevin, largely hail from Naples, Italy.

With two successful locations in Charleston, both of which have earned TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence, the owners decided to expand the concept to Hilton Head Island. The entire restaurant space has been renovated and updated and features an elegant Italian décor. There will also be a brand new patio and 24-seat outside bar with spectacular marina and water views, an ideal spot for watching HarbourFest performances in the summertime.

Menu items include brick oven-fired pizzas, Veal Piccata, Veal Marsala, Calamari, Pasta Fagioli, Lobster Ravioli, Filet Mignon, calzones and more. Entrees range in price from $10-$38. The restaurant also offers an extensive wine list with red and white wines by the glass and bottle, which are artfully paired with dishes.

“When you have an Italian restaurant, you should have Italians cooking,” says Chef Gary. “We have a good Italian palate and use the best ingredients we can find, both imported from Italy and using local items whenever possible.”
