Update: Myrtle Beach police officers involved in car crash while on golf cart released from hospital

Two Myrtle Beach police officers were injured after they were involved in a car crash while they were on a golf cart in downtown Myrtle Beach Thursday night and went to the hospital. The officers have been released from the hospital.

Two Myrtle Beach police officers suffered mild injuries when the golf cart they were driving hit the back of a car Thursday night.

At 10:20 p.m. a car was driving through the intersection of 2nd Avenue North and Chester Avenue after stopping at a stop sign, according to Corporal Sonny Collins with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
