Two in custody after shooting, police search in Myrtle Beach

Two people are in police custody pending formal charges being filed in connection with a shooting that occurred Monday afternoon, according to authorities.

Myrtle Beach police were called to Grey Street, which is off Mr. Joe White Avenue, for a shooting Monday afternoon, Lt. Joey Crosby said. No one was hurt during the shooting, but officers learned a red Camaro was involved.

Officers saw the vehicle and tried to stop it in the area of 48th Avenue North and Wild Iris Road, which is in the jurisdiction of Horry County police, Crosby said.
