"80 teams from 23 U.S. states and three nations will meet for one of the world's most unique sporting events when the International Quidditch Association's seventh annual World Cup comes to the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex April 5 and 6. The tournament runs from 8 a.m.-11 p.m. on April 5, and from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on April 6.

A welcome ceremony will be held at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex at 8 a.m. on April 5. North Myrtle Beach Mayor Marilyn Hatley and members of City Council will be on hand to welcome the 80 teams as they are introduced to the public."
