Second new exhibit opening this month at Brookgreen Gardens

Right on the heels of a new Gullah Geechee exhibit opening at Brookgreen Gardens this week comes news of another new exhibit.

“Sandy Islanders: A People of the Land,” a traveling pictoral exhibit from the University of South Carolina’s McKissick Museum, opened this week and will be open daily from noon to 4:30 p.m. until March 22.

On Jan. 31, “Environmental Impact” will be up for viewing in the Rainey Sculpture Pavilion at the gardens until April 26. The purpose of this exhibit is to recognize the work of artist who focus their work on environmental issues and to increase public awareness about different environments.
