Robber: ‘I need all of your money. It’s God’s will that I take all your money and go to prison’

A man was arrested after he walked into a Scotchman convenience store and told the cashier it was “God’s will” that he take all the store’s money and go to prison Monday evening, according to a police report.

Police were called at 6 p.m. Monday to the Scotchman store at 940 Inlet Square Drive, where the cashier reported the incident to Horry County police.

A 20-year-old clerk told police that a 32-year-old man entered the store after all the other customers had left and quickly approached the cash register, authorities said.
