$6.5 Million in improvements coming to Ocean Boulevard in North Myrtle Beach

The City of North Myrtle Beach is moving forward with $6.5 million in improvements to Ocean Boulevard in the Crescent Beach section.

One of the projects, with an estimated value of $3.5 million and funded by the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), involves widening Ocean Boulevard from 15th Avenue South to 28th Avenue South.

The other project, with an estimated value of $3 million and funded by the City and Santee Cooper, involves converting power and communications utilities from overhead to underground along the same stretch of Ocean Boulevard.
