The news about Dirty Dick's in North Myrtle Beach closing permanently might have saddened some, but if rumors are to be believed that building won't sit empty for long. We're hearing from some very reliable sources that Mellow Mushroom will be calling 1101 Highway 17 North home. 

There is already one Mellow Mushroom in the area, located on 21st Ave North in Myrtle Beach. The Georgia based pizza company has stores all over South Carolina and are of course known for their pizzas but also for a wide range of craft beers. 

There are also a treasure trove of other businesses opening in North Myrtle Beach: Publix, TJ Maxx, Ulta Beauty, Hobby Lobby, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Ross Dress for Less, Rack Room Shoes, PetSmart, and hopefully, Panera Bread, McAlister’s Deli, Red Lobster and Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n’ Biscuits. As well as the long-time awaited, all natural burger joint called BurgerFi.
