Uber drivers cited by Myrtle Beach police
Myrtle Beach police handed out their first citations Saturday night to Uber drivers operating within city limits [...] Three people were given two citations each for Operating without a Business License, which carries a fine of $1,092, and Operating Without a Valid Chauffeur License, which carries a fine of $262, according to Captain David Knipes with the Myrtle Beach Police Department. One person was written up on two different occasions.
Uber has stated in the past that they will pay all fines that their drivers might receive during these sorts of sting operations.
Be careful out there Uber drivers!
