Myrtle Beach woman charged in man’s jaw stabbing

Myrtle Beach police arrested a 59-year-old woman on Thursday in connection with a December stabbing, according to authorities.

Joyce Ann Johnson, 59, was charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, according to Myrtle Beach Jail records. She is being held at 7:30 a.m. Friday pending a bond hearing.

Police charged Johnson in connection with a 51-year-old man being stabbed in the jaw with a kitchen knife during an argument with her, according to a Myrtle Beach police report. Officers were called about 6 p.m. Dec. 17 to 407 27th Ave. N., for an assault, police said.
