Moorers will have a bail reconsideration hearing at the end of January
Sidney and Tammy Moorer, accused of murdering Heather Elvis in December 2013, will have a bond reconsideration hearing at the end of the month.
The Moorer’s case will be heard before Judge R. Markley Dennis on Friday, Jan. 30. The time of the hearing has not been determined. The couple will travel to Charleston County Judicial Center for the hearing.
The two have been scheduled to face trial May 11, according to court documents filed Dec. 31.
The state has also asked for a panel of 800 possible jurors for the weeks of May 11 and May 18. Jury selection will begin May 11.
