Two volunteer coaches with the Carolina Forest High School wrestling team have been dismissed from their coaching duties, according to Horry County schools spokeswoman Teal Harding.

Harding said neither of the volunteer coaches had any duties with the school district other than coaching wrestling. She said issues related to them are personnel matters and the school district had no further comment on either person.

Meanwhile, Horry County police confirmed an investigation concerning at least one of the volunteer coaches. Authorities said that person had been told his services were no longer needed after the police began investigating.
