Horry County agencies make 39 arrests, respond to 4,106 service calls during Memorial Day weekend

Horry County officials have released the number of 911 service calls over Memorial Day weekend, including the number of arrests, citations and warnings issued by county police over the weekend.

Horry County agencies – expect for Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach police and fire – responded to a total of 4,106 calls for service from May 21-25, according to Lisa Bourcier, county public information director. Last year a total of 4,301 calls were received during the same time period, she said.
