Tenth Annual Christmas Towne to bring yuletide joy to Myrtle Beach

The Christmas season kicks off in high fashion with the 10th Annual Christmas Towne on Sunday, Dec. 1.

Holiday enthusiasts can come out to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, at 2101 N. Oak St., from 2 to 6:30 p.m., and take part in this free family-friendly event.

“The holidays are going to be here before we know it, and this is just our way of wishing everyone in the Myrtle Beach area a happy holiday season,” said Brad Dean, president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.

This year’s Christmas Towne includes Santa photos, amusement rides, games, and much more. It all leads up to the City of Myrtle Beach’s official tree lighting ceremony at the convention center’s outdoor events plaza at 6 p.m.

The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is providing free convention center parking for those attending.
