Another day, another 5k...or something like that. 

With the motto of, “Come for the 5k but stay for the Foam Party.” One can only assume this race is aimed at the younger runners.

Electric Foam is where you go to get your heart pumping from exercise, great music, adrenaline, and the thrill of being part of the show…. all at once? Come decked out in your craziest, most wildly bright outfit, then make your way through our 3ish mile electric music and foam course. You and your friends will be moving to the beat as you make your way to the final dazzling DJ show and countdown Foam Festival.

Electric Foam 5k is a 3ish mile fun run. It is meant to be experienced and enjoyed. It is not timed. There is no age limit, and there are no age categories. Runners, walkers and dancers will be released in large, radiant waves every few minutes.  You may run it as quickly or as slowly as you like or you might prefer to walk the entire course.  Strollers are welcome, as are costumes and personality to this exciting event.

After the race, the partying continues with food carts, vendors, and a lte night club vibe with a DJ playing the most popular in dance, electronica, dubstep, and or whatever the newest "wubwubwub" style of music is all the craze with the kids these days,

"Once all runners, walkers and dancers have crossed the finish line, we will begin the countdown to release the foam, for an after party that you have to experience to believe."

The Electric Foam 5k will be held at the Myrtle Beach Speedway on May 10th from 6:00pm until 10:00pm. You can register for the race and take advantage of the early bird special of $35 a participant here. We hear you can get an additional $5 off by using coupon code: MB5OFF.
