Earlier this month, The Academy for the Arts, Science, and Technology's Aluminum Assault robotics team won the North Carolina Regional FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition.

Now they're the only school in our area to qualify for the FIRST National Championship in St. Louis next month.
