Event Officially Launches New Community and Lennar’s Partnership with Palmetto Goodwill

Charleston, S.C.  (August 26, 2013) – On Saturday, August 24, Lennar, one of the nation’s top homebuilders, hosted the Lindera Living Welcome Home Event at Lindera Preserve, welcoming new residents and potential homebuyers to the community.   During the event, Lennar officially announced a partnership with Palmetto Goodwill, further demonstrating their commitment to the communities where they build. 

Developed by the leadership at the two organizations, the partnership supports Lennar homebuyers who are either looking to donate old items, or shop for their new homes.  A similar geographic footprint across the Lowcountry for both Lennar and Goodwill reinforced the mutually beneficial relationship for the residents in the area.

The family-friendly event welcomed the community to experience southern living in Lindera Preserve, Lennar’s top selling community in Cane Bay.  Guests enjoyed a Lowcountry shrimp boil, jump castle village, face painting, snow cones, balloon artists, and live music.  Goodwill hosted a Back to School Fashion Show featuring the latest trends and styles.  Further benefiting Goodwill, guests were encouraged to bring donation items and registered to win a 50” television from Lennar, resulting in generous donations for stores across the Lowcountry.
