Update: Thankfully, it looks like the impending storm system will hold off through rush hour. But NWS has issued a tornado watch for Horry County and looks like we'll get hit with the bad stuff around 6 p.m.
FIrst Report: The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for our area that warns of early evening thunderstorms and wind gusts.
After 5 p.m., fast moving thunderstorms are expected to hit with damaging wind gusts clocking over 35 miles-per-hour. However, they aren't predicting a whole lot of rain with these storms. More details are here.
The good news is that this system should clear the way for some beautiful weekend weather.
