Spending 30 days on a jet makes you get a little creative

Mark Marlkoff is spending 30 days on AirTran to beat his fear of flying, and on day 23 he pulled into Charleston, where he was greeted with a bag of boiled peanuts, a tall glass of sweet tea -- and a tarmac oasis.

Mark had been talking to people in Charleston about his unique trip via Twitter, and that's how the Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau caught wind and set up the impromptu swimming pool.

No only is he kicking his fear of turbulence, but also promoting AirTran's in flight Internet service by blogging and posting pictures of his journey from 30,000 feet.
