Are you aware it's national Buy Local Week? And for all you frugalistas out there, tone it down and get ready to spend, locally.

On Tuesaday afternoon, locals made their way to Noisette to check out Lowcountry goods at the Give Local Holiday Bazaar. Presented by the Lowcountry Local First organization, over 40 artisans, vendors, and nonprofit organizations teamed up to offer their goods and services. And there was lots to chose from -- check out the video above.

After picking up some gifts for others, I splurged and bought myself a handmade hula hoop from the gals of Homespun Hoops.

I will have to admit that I am sandwich-toting, crumb-licking frugalista myself, but today I plan to splurge and enjoy a sumptuous “Local Lover Plate” dinner at one of the restaurants participating in Wednesday’s Eat Local Night.
