While flipping through a recent edition of Maxim (no, it's not a regular habit) someone pointed a nice little surprise: The magazine has proclaimed Isle of Palms' beach one of the nation's six sexiest.

Here's what the magazine said on page 13 of its July 2009 issue:

This seven-mile-long and one-mile-wide barrier island has pristine beaches littered with smoking-hot rich ladies lured in by high-end shops all over the island. It's like chum for sharks. (Sharks who are into really expensive handbags.)"

So go on all you young studs and bag yourself a "cougar."

Hawaii, Hamptons Beach, and Hanalei were all among the magazine's other pics -- and no, the magazine has yet to put the list online.
