Wild signs mislead in Columbia

Looking for something in Columbia? Better think twice about following directions.

Some of the signs installed to point visitors to Columbia's attractions point the wrong way. Our Capitol's $255,000 program wound up with two signs pointing the wrong way. The problem is chalked up to using a North Carolina firm that was unfamiliar with the city's layout.

The problem is being resolved by sending someone from the city along with the installation crews to double check the work.
