Legislator: Charge obese state employees $25 more for health insurance

Obese state workers would pay $25 more a month for health insurance, under proposed state legislation.

The fee would be levied on those with a BMI (body mass index) of more than 30.

The bill was created by Aiken's Senator W. Greg Ryberg.
