Seven people from one family have been arrested after the weekend stabbing of a father and son.

Apparently another family showed up at the home of Dennis Preston Redick, 45, and went after Dennis's son, John Redick, 18. And when Dennis intervened he was also wounded.

There's little word on what would have caused the tensions to run so hight between the two families that live about a half-mile apart in West Ashley.
