Sentencing delayed for Food Lion robbery

Eight Wando High School students involved in the robbery of a Food Lion in August 2006 were scheduled to find out their punishment Tuesday. But the date has been pushed back, likely to next week.

The Post and Courier reports that the judge will be attending a funeral service for Circuit Judge James W. Johnson Jr.

Two others were sentenced earlier this year to 10 years in prison, but it's uncertain whether these eight will face prison time or probation, or possibly both.
