First reporting: The Post and Courier reports on a group of youths that have been terrorizing the Chicora-Cherokee neighborhood in North Charleston. In part:
Police Chief Jon Zumalt said the youths, all between the ages of 10 and 17, appear to get a thrill out of committing acts of violence. "Their first priority was to hurt people; their second priority was to rob them."

Six of the youths have been charged with lynching or strong-arm robbery, Bullard said. More arrests and charges are expected. Not all of the members participated in every incident, and the size of the group varied from attack to attack, he said.
