The State's Noelle Phillips on home mortgage payments in South Carolina:
Almost one in 10 S.C. homeowners was behind on mortgage payments or in foreclosure at the end of September.

The level is roughly on par with the national rate, and is comprised of nearly 7.5% of folks being delinquent on payment, and more than 2% in foreclosure.
