Love it, then eat: Periodical guide to Charleston food is out

Image by TheDigitelImage by 20080810dish.jpg Charleston City Paper's guide to eating in Charleston this summer is out.

Sure, Charleston has no shortage of dinning guides, but one of my favorites is out: Charleston City Paper's DISH.

Clocking in at an ad-laden 92 pages in print, the guide is available online. We'll individually promote some of their better reviews over the coming weeks, but until then here's the link to the main DISH page and links to their main features:

Charleston leads the South into the culinary future
Charleston gets all wrapped up in fish tacos
The sweet kernels of summer burst out all over town
Summer beers keep the palate refreshed when the days get steamy
Local fry kings wrest America's favorite side from fast food mediocrity
In search of the Holy City's best burgers
The Mellings grow beautiful things at the hydroponic Kurios Farms
Firefly Vodka gets iced tea all liquored up
FIG Chef Mike Lata spends his days in search of the freshest fare

The Post and Courier also has their own guide (it came out in March). Though I prefer Charleston City Paper's, The Post and Courier's is nice as it reviews entire categories of restaurants (i.e. Mexican, fancy seafood, etc.)

Note: We've seen it around town for a few days, but we've only just now been able to find it online (and Web linkage is a good thing). I promise the late notification isn't because I'm a slacker.
