The 2009 Kelly Cup Champion SC Stingrays beat the Charlotte Checkers tonight 4-2 with their 13th consecutive win; setting a new team record.

In an exciting game tonight at the North Charleston Coliseum, our SC Stingrays took to the ice, showing fans some serious hockey. Keith Johnson made the first power play goal, and it just got better from there. Goalie Todd Ford did an outstanding job defending against 25+ shots on goal.

Rays fans were happy to see Checkers player, Reynolds (44) thrown form the game in the 3rd period due to his fighting and unsportsman-like conduct.

Way to go Rays!
