It was standing room only on the the opening night of the Charleston RiverDogs season at the Joseph P. Riley Jr. ballpark.

Despite threats of severe weather, which luckily held off until after the game, fans came out in full force to support one of the Lowcountry's favorite teams and embrace America's favorite pass time. It didn't hurt that it was Thirsty Thursday either.

The Dogs hosted the Lexington Legends, the first of a four game home series, and took the game 5-2 in front of 7,587 fans. The win is also a first for the RiverDogs' new manager Greg Colbrunn.
