C of C defeated in first round of SoCon Championship

Update May 21:
The College of Charleston's season has ended with a loss to Furman, 5-6. The Cougars scored 4 of their 5 runs in the 4th inning, tying Furman at 5-5. Furman answered with one run in the bottom on the 4th, sealing the victory.
First reporting:
The College of Charleston was defeated by Western Carolina 12-4 in First Round of SoCon Championship yesterday, May 20.
With the loss, Charleston fell to 35-21 on the year, while Western Carolina improved to 35-20 with the win. The Cougars are set to play again today, May 21, when they face eighth-seeded Furman at 1 p.m. in an elimination contest.
