The Citadel claimed their eighth Southern Conference Tournament Championship on Sunday as they easily defeated Western Carolina 10-3 at Riley Park.

The Bulldogs finished out their season with 12 straight wins and went 42-20 on the season - the second most winning season in school history.

The Bulldogs now wait to find out where they will be headed to for NCAA Regional play. The regional pairings will be announced this afternoon on ESPN at 12:30 p.m. The Citadel baseball team will have a viewing party beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Palmetto Ale House on James Island at 951 Folly Road.
