Battery defeat Miami in final home game of the regular season

The Charleston Battery closed out its 2009 home schedule with a 2-1 win over the Miami FC Blues on Friday, September 11.
The win puts the Battery at 13-5-10 (49 points) on the season, tied with the Carolina RailHawks in third place in the ULS First Division. Play continues for the Battery with two more matches in the regular season on the road.
The USL First Division playoffs begin September 24.
