Myrtle Beach area golf school tries out vintage hickory clubs

As a part of their regular curriculum, The Golf Academy of Myrtle Beach takes students out to play 9 holes with vintage hickory shafted clubs.

Sounds like a great way to teach students the history of the game and give them an appreciation of modern equipment technology. WBTW has more details including how the students like the clubs. Read it here.

If you think that's neat, you may want to check out the Hickory Golf Association where they only play with hickory shaft clubs.
