#MYRsports: 'The Team' interviews: Edwin Jackson & Pat Yasinskas

On June 15, 2012 I talked talked with Nationals pitcher Edwin Jackson and ESPN.com contributor Pat Yasinskas.

First I spoke with Edwin Jackson, pitcher for the Washington Nationals, about how hot the Nationals have been and how he tries to improve every game. During Jackson's Major League Baseball (MLB) career, Jackson has played for the Los Angeles Dodgers (2003–2005), Tampa Bay Devil Rays / Rays (2006–2008), Detroit Tigers (2009), Arizona Diamondbacks (2010), Chicago White Sox (2010–2011), and St. Louis Cardinals (2011). Jackson was an All-Star in 2009 and threw a no-hitter on June 25, 2010.

Secondly I spoke with Pat Yasinskas a NFC South reporter for ESPN.com. Yasinskas joined ESPN.com in January 2008 after covering the Carolina Panthers for The Charlotte Observer for nine seasons. He began his journalism career with The Tampa Tribune in 1990.
