While the egrets and herons were busy making babies in the rookery, the peacocks were brawling in the parking lot on Tuesday (3/30/10).  I wonder if they know that engaging in cockfighting is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of $1,000 or 1 year in jail (S. C. Code of Laws 16-17-650)?
