The Last Waltz Ensemble will play two full sets on the main stage at the Pour House in Charleston on Friday, September 24, 2010!
The Last Waltz Ensemble performs an amazing playlist of songs by Bob Dylan and The Band - from all the different eras of their careers - from The Basement Tapes and Big Pink to The Last Waltz and beyond. Using vintage instruments and equipment along with “borrowed” arrangements, we will take you on a magical ride through some of the most memorable musical history. You’ll hear your favorites alongside some “B” sides and deep cuts…! And don’t forget the special guests! We are well-known for bringing up some of our dear friends from time to time…all local and regional musicians who bring their own flavor of Bob and the Band to the stage! We’ve been privileged to share the stage with some heavy hitters over the years!
