Dogtoberfest Benefits Local Animal Shelters

Lowcountry animal rescue organizations will once again benefit from the annual Dogtoberfest Wine Tasting and Pet Expo as the Kiawah Island Community Association and Freshfields Village team up to help local dogs.  The event, which includes a Halloween costume contest for dogs, takes place on Saturday, October 20 and will also feature pet service vendors, a Zumbathon dance fitness event, live music, and libations.

Dogtoberfest will take place from 1 p.m.- 6 p.m. on the Freshfields Village Green where pet vendors will be offering the latest products and services, while rescue groups answer questions and showcase adoptable pups.
